Why is my beard so itchy?
"Happiness is having a scratch for every itch" - Ogden Nash.
But when it's your beard itching all over, scratching ain't equaling happiness. Here are the top 3 reasons why your beard itches:
1. Accumulated dirt and grime
2. Dry skin
3. Dandruff

And here's what to do about them:
- Wash face & beard twice, thoroughly (more on this below).
- Keep your beard and face hydrated. Use a beard oil or serum. Dryness causes itching. Guaranteed.
- If you have a really thick beard, use an anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner once or twice a week to keep things clean and flowing

Can I use face wash on beard?
Simple fact: Face = Skin. Beard = Hair + Skin (underneath)
Hair cleansing needs specialist cleansing that a skin cleanser alone cannot do. For example, deeper cleansing near the roots, conditioning of beard hair and keeping beard softer for longer.
We would strongly recommend a specialist beard wash, or a face+beard wash if you are into serious bearding.

Can I use shampoo on beard?
Shampoos could be used on beard, but use it daily and you're not going to like it on your face! They are formulated to make hairs softer, and the after-feel on skin is not going to be great, exactly.

When should I apply beard oil?
Use beard oil twice a day - once in the morning and once in the evening, after washing and drying your beard.
